Handwoven Romanian rug with colorful bohemian floral design 294x146cm

Beautiful handmade rug from south romania, big colorful flowers, very charming, bohemian as style. It is made by hand in the loom, using traditional techniques, in wool, cotton and acrylic yarns. It was never used, kept in the dowry, in good conditions. Not very thick, it is a light rug, can be also sed as a bed cover. I grown up with this: every winter, at my grandmother' s house, women from the village, neighbors and relatives, spend the evenings and those long winter nights together, working on beautiful wool carpets or other handmade items. This is our story.
