An iconic armchair, this Concorde lounge chair, designed in 1966 by Pierre Paulin for Artifort. The chair was originally designed for the waiting areas of the British-French supersonic aircraft Concorde. A simple and sleek lounge chair on a black metal sled base. These two examples have new interiors and have been (very neatly) reupholstered in a mottled blue/purple wool fabric. In good condition with minor signs of wear on the base.
