Old wooden library card box

Old wooden library card box. Dovetail mounting. The lid lifts thanks to a metal hinge and closes with a charming metal clar as well. In good condition, however, the box remains in a natural patina due to its age. The wood is marked by time, the clasps as well as the assembly nails are oxidized. a layer of colorless protective varnish was applied to the raw wood.
