Large bronze lamp base from the late 19th century. Torch table lamp.

Large antique bronze lamp base. A genuine lamp to place on a table or desk. Rich ornamentation: wave frieze, row of pearls, ovals, capital with drapery fall. Conical shaft, acanthus leaves, fluted grooves, and crossed ribbons. The base is weighted, providing perfect stability, and can accommodate a large lampshade if needed. The electrical wire is protected by a tube. The electricity works with these vintage Bakelite elements (plug and switch). Height: 36.5 cm. Base: 11.7 cm. Weight: 2.540 kg. In very good condition, with an antique patina. Please note a very slight small dent at the base.
