Antique wrought iron and red leatherette umbrella stand – 1960s

Superb vintage umbrella stand in black wrought iron, covered in red skai with a raised grid pattern. Its cylindrical design is enhanced by an elegant upper ring in gold metal, bringing a chic and typically retro touch to the whole. The twisted handle as well as the circular base complete this piece that is both practical and decorative. The object is in very good condition: the skai has two micro tears (visible up close in the photographs) without loss of material or sagging, and some slight traces of time compatible with careful use.
