Kilim turkish papatyali avsar kayseri - entirely handmade -dimensions: 1.92 X 4.03 meters - quality: weaving wool on wool - origin: turkey, anatolia - period: early twentieth around 1930 - condition: good condition except for a tear of 30 centimeter to restore - shipping: by mondial relay + 35 €- Attention: shipping only to member countries of the european union. It is a turkish kilim from central anatolia, kayseri region. These kilims were woven by avsar people who live in the area. They mainly made this kind of kilims in the sariz area of kayseri and the pattern is called papatyali avsar kayseri kilim. The round flower forms are papatya which is a daisy/chamomile flower. And most of the large ones were woven into two panels/pieces and then sewn together in the middle. It is about 80 to 100 years old.
