Bruno Rey was one of the most prominent figures in the Swiss design movement. During the 1970s, Bruno Rey collaborated with manufacturers such as Interlübke, Vitra, Cassina, and Dietiker. Throughout his career, Bruno Rey received numerous awards and accolades for his contributions to industrial design, including the Swiss Design Award in 2007. His creations are exhibited in museums around the world, including MoMA in New York. The designer created the Rey chair in 1971. This iconic model has been reissued by HAY and is currently experiencing a true renaissance in the furniture market.
