Cornet vase in "Chinese lacquer" floral Napoleon III black and red

This old cornucopia is made of black "Chinese lacquer." It dates from the late 19th century. It is an elegant vase in the shape of a cornucopia made of boiled cardboard and lacquered. It was hung on the wall as a vase for potpourri or dried flowers. It can also be used as a catch-all. In the Napoleon III style, this vase features polychrome decorations of white flowers and butterflies on a black background. The interior is painted red. Please note: signs of use, scratches, and wear on some decorations, with the varnish showing cracks. This cornucopia measures 40 cm in height and 12 cm in diameter.
