Wonderful berber rug from the 1960s. High-quality pile with patterns in shades of cream, beige, brown and orange. Quality features: Berber carpet. Hand knotted. Approx. 160, 000 knots per m2. 50-60 years old. 100% virgin wool. Made in tunisia. All of our carpets are cleaned in a professional carpet laundry. The first step in cleaning is to tap the carpet thoroughly to remove dust and any mites. The subsequent prewash with a ph-neutral soap removes stains. For the main wash, the carpet is thoroughly washed by hand – a special soap protects the fibers and preserves the natural wool fat of the carpet. The first dewatering takes place by means of mechanical pressing and spinning, to let the carpets then dry in a constant air circulation.
