Vintage hand-painted animal pottery by ke mexico, for ken edwards. This american ceramist studied his art in japan, before settling in mexico around the 1960s, where he set up his studio in tonala. Nice craftsmanship for this naïve and colorful little horse, which mixes the influences of several continents. Good condition, dimensions: 16x13x5 cm (photos tend to enlarge the statuette).
