Impressive wall-mounted dresser of very fine quality.

Imposing wall-mounted cabinet entirely made of solid oak (except for the back, which is oak plywood) of very fine quality. It comes from a bourgeois residence in Val-de-Marne and was custom-made by a cabinetmaker. The craftsmanship is perfect, the wood is of high quality, and the result is very impressive. It features three shelves adorned with small openwork balconies, cleverly designed to hold the displayed plates (this is the primary function of these pieces, but they can easily be repurposed). There is a solid wood strip at the back of each shelf to hold the plates against the back if necessary. The shelves extend beyond the sides, creating small shelves that appear to be suspended in mid-air. The uprights are also beautifully moulded, featuring elegant curves. Finally, a decorative motif punctuates the whole, embellished with two carved floral serpents. It is a good size and has some weight to it. However, there are two hooks already fixed for wall mounting. No defects to report apart from two points that have been hollowed out in the middle of each shelf at the back, probably to accommodate taller plates. But this has no visual or structural impact.
