Founded in 1957 by Chaim Schreiber, Schreiber furniture is an interesting British success story. The Company was one of the biggest names in furniture in the 70s, rivalling G Plan and other well known manufacturers. In 1973 they added fitted kitchen to their range, and created 280 Schreiber Furniture Centre shops throughout UK. These much sought after dining chairs are typical of the Schreiber style. Light coloured solid teak with tapered legs and contoured back rest. The original black leatherette upholstery is well padded in and very good condition. Material. Beech. Leatherette. Condition: Very good Mid-Century condition with only minor signs of age and use. Structurally solid. Any damage, however minor, is always noted in the description.
