Pair of armchairs Guy Besnard

Pair of armchairs from the 1960s, design by guy besnard, edition guy besnard et cie. Wooden structure, trimmed with foam and textile, on brass metal base. Guy besnard, who graduated from the boulle school in 1930, created his own publishing house in the 1950s. In beautiful original condition, the period trim has lighter areas on the top of the backrests, slight discoloration in the absence of uv due to the presence of protections at the head. Note slight traces and areas on the seats (see photos). Nevertheless the choice was made to keep these original textiles, but it is possible to have them remade by an upholsterer with a textile of your choice (on estimate). The seat is deep, enveloping and very comfortable.
