Very old and magnificent color lithograph of butterflies - illustration of heterocera (heterocera in latin), including the agaritharia, of the suborder geometrae - this plate is an original from 1887. It is not a copy but a engraving over 130 years old! - size: 28 X 21 cm - a detailed and realistic work from a specialized book; with around thirty different species illustrated - the condition of the engraving is good: worn, soiled edges.
