Empty Ashtray in Orange Alabaster Made in Italy

Magnificent collector's piece made of genuine alabaster, hand-carved in Italy, in the Volterra region (Tuscany). This model, with its raw and natural contours, is appealing due to its amber orange hue and deep, organic veining, typical of Mid-Century Modern design from the 60s-70s. Compact size (12 cm wide, 2 cm high), ideal as a catch-all for jewellery, keys, or small treasures. Original "Handmade in Italy" label still present under the base. In good condition with a natural patina.
