Superb and authentic duo of small mugs (tasting jugs) in art stoneware, produced by the prestigious Guérin pottery in Bouffioulx (Belgium) during the 1960s/1970s. Each piece is handcrafted in salt-glazed stoneware, characterised by a nuanced beige body with flamed decorations and brown drips, featuring a superb satin sheen. The front displays a raised crest depicting a stylised fleur-de-lis, a traditional emblem of this Walloon craft. The structure has a contrasting dark handle and rests on a small circular base made of raw stoneware. Underneath, the workshop's monogram is engraved in the clay, and one of the pieces retains its original paper label "Guérin Bouffioulx". A magnificent collection set for beer enthusiasts.
