This beautiful ceramic vase presents the characteristics of the ceramics of aldo londi, a renowned ceramist who worked a lot for the italian house bitossi, including the famous riminu blu collection. This beautiful deep blue. The very pretty relief work with in particular the central motif repeating around the edge of the vase. This motif is not the best known that aldo londi has proposed, it is not found in the riminu blu collection for example, but it is found on vases that are attributed to londi. And the absence of a signature underneath, I have never seen a londi piece with a signature, but the presence of a small interlacing of darker lines that we find under most of his vases. For me, little room for doubt, all this seems representative of the work of aldo londi, but I let you make up your own mind. It is in good general condition, no cracks, the enamel inside is in good condition which still allows it to be used as a vase, but it has signs that testify to its previous lives: small chips in the enamel, notably on 7 of the studs in the center of the main motif. And others, tiny, on reliefs but which are perhaps original. It measures 13 cm in height, 6 cm in diameter at the round base and the opening, almost square in shape, measures 9 cm on each side.
