An antique portrait miniature, a pencil drawing of a marquis from the late 18th century presented in an oval Napoléon III style frame made of Bakelite, bordered with brass and featuring a convex glass from the 1940s. The portrait is very finely drawn and mounted on a card of "microscopic photography by Dagron" (René Prudent Patrice Dagron (1819 – 1900), inventor of microscopic photo jewellery in 1857). In very good condition, this small oval portrait miniature is beautifully framed, full of charm and poetry. Height: 13.5 cm. Width: 11 cm. Depth: 2 cm. Weight: 80 grams.
