Antique miniature portrait, pencil drawing of a marquis from the end of the 18th century presented in an oval napoleon III style frame made of bakelite surrounded by brass and domed glass from the 1940s. Very finely drawn portrait glued on a "microscopic photography of dagron" card (rené prudent patrice dagron (1819 - 1900), inventor of microscopic photo jewelry in 1857. In very good condition, small oval miniature portrait nicely framed full of charm and poetry. Height: 13.5cm width: 11cm depth: 2cm weight: 80 grams.
