Ancient wooden crate used to transport fruit, here plums. Beautiful inscriptions well readable including some in depth: calpack from the land of sunshine fruits, logo collected and boxed in california 55-66 per half parcel, importe usa of america, it presents on one side a paper label covering other inscriptions stamped in depth, this label: price drop was printed in lyon. This case has a missing and a slit on the same face, and a hole due to a wood knot in the background, see photos.
