Old U&C Earthenware Plate from Sarreguemines - Feria with Support

Vintage ceramic dessert/cheese plate from utzschneider & cie in sarreguemines with its metal wall support. A blue floral decoration on a white background with a delicate border of clover leaves. Stamped on the reverse and framed by a rectangle: feria u&c sarregumines it was in 1900 that paul utzschneider bought the sarregumeines factory whose activity dates back to 1790. In order to revitalize the activity, utzschneider called on techniques of english production. Thanks to printing, he industrialized his manufacturing and saved on production.
