Venetian commode in Baroque style from the 20th century

COD 01193. Venetian chest of drawers from the mid-20th century. This Baroque-style commode is in wood richly carved, lacquered, gilded, and hand-painted with exquisite floral decorations. The leaf-shaped chest of drawers, curved on the front and sides, features a faux-marble lacquered wooden top. The dresser rests on four sturdy curved legs with curled feet (see photo). Featuring two spacious drawers, this chest of drawers is ideal for a bedroom or living room, boasting beautiful lines and proportions. Adorned with carved and gilded wooden handles, this striking piece is ideal for antique dealers and interior decorators. Structurally sound and solid, with a beautiful patina.
