Set of 2 brown leather 'sirocco' chairs; named after the Mediterranean wind that comes from the Sahara and can reach hurricane speeds in northern Africa or southern Europe, especially during the summer season. A timeless classic, designed by Arne Norell in 1964 and handcrafted in Sweden. This set has all the characteristics of a classic safari chair: a wooden base, exclusive premium leather and a remarkable stitching finish. The Sirocco is custom made, so colours may vary. This set has a cognac back and cognac armrests, combined with a slightly darker brown seat. The price is for the set. This set is in very good (vintage) condition, with minor signs of age-related wear. The leather is beautifully patinated in the right places, giving the chairs the unique, slightly worn look so typical of vintage design.
