Large and imposing old fir front door, pushing straight, (210cm high and 96cm wide) and its original frame with its glazed and opening transom. The whole measures 251.5cm high (to the bottom of the door!) by 106.5cm wide. It dates from the 1920s, 1930s. Massive and solid, this door has varnished wood, sunned and faded mainly on the outside. All the joinery is in very good condition, solid, tenon-mortise and pegged assembly, "integrated" u-shaped metal reinforcements at the top and bottom on the inside. Note that the bottoms of the frame uprights (formerly buried parts) show old traces of wood-eating insects, traces that are also found under the door, but without affecting its solidity! In addition, on the interior part, a vertical part must be glued back: slight crack on the lock side visible in the photos, and a gap is present under the lock, this graft and the gluing can of course be done on request. The facade has a base and four overlapping panels with its molded plinth. The transom has two glass panels that open from the inside, by two small latches thus allowing ventilation. The glasses are translucent, identical, original, they are in very good condition. The lock works (operated by the rotation of the handle on the front), it has its key and this door is also provided with its additional original lock. This door can obviously be imagined revarnished or why not painted, in very good condition, it has been carefully dismantled. The squaring board has been fixed to allow its transport. The door and its frame weigh approximately 50kg. Dimensions: 210cm high, 96cm wide and 3.5cm thick (excluding mouldings and skirting boards). The frame is 251.5cm high, 106.5cm wide and 5.5cm thick. Ref: 421.
