Old gate, cradle with cast iron logs

Superb fireplace basket / vintage log holder in black cast iron with 12 bars, decorated with a removable plate dressed in a baroque style décor. This accessory is placed inside the chimney and is used to accommodate the logs which, placed slightly high in the hearth, benefit from optimal combustion. This solid support also prevents partially consumed logs from collapsing, thanks to the curved bars and its removable plate forming a good bed of embers.
