Jansen or Ramsay coffee table, 1940s/1950s, onyx and bronze

Jansen or Ramsay coffee table, 1940s/50s, neoclassical style. The frame is made of bronze, decorated with palmettes, supported by a base with chiseled spindles in gilded metal adorned with chiseled bronze rings, connected by an elegant double-arched spacer in gilded metal. The frame is in very good condition and very beautiful with its light patina. It also has height-adjustable feet. The top is onyx with superb grain.
