Viennese bistro parrot in curved wood. Very rare model n°2, called double", by jacob & josef khon (aocnurrent de thonet) who was the sole creator and exclusive manufacturer. Considered the most elaborate of the Viennese parrots in curved wood. Also existed as a console/trumeau to be placed against a wall. Here the entire model with pedestal. Complete, with bobèche at the top and bottom. Eight coat hooks, coat and hat racks, with original tips turned in the shape of an "olivette" (typical of kohn). Umbrella stand and walking sticks called "double". Very good condition of conservation and maintenance for a cloakroom of more than a century. Original patina called "American mahogany". | height 206 cm, crown width approx. 35 cm, pedestal width approx. 63 cm, wheelbase 55 cm. | delivery throughout France assured.
