4-leaf screen in pink toile de Jouy

Four-leaf screen dating from the 19th century composed of four rectangular wooden frames with the upper part rounded and each covered with authentic toile de jouy printed cotton in dark pink on a beige background with sewn edges and double-jointed hinges to connect and unfold them as you wish. Antique piece, solid and stable, we have entirely dry cleaned the cotton to restore its shine. Some shades of beige are to be noted. On the outer edges, the cotton has been split. Unable to sew these two discreet slits (if sewing was done, the topstitching of the thread would have widened the holes) we chose to glue the fabric to the wooden structure so that the slit does not widen any further! Ideal as a space divider in any room, as a screen in a bedroom or as a headboard, this historic screen will find its place in any type of interior and will bring a vintage and colorful touch to your decoration.
