Small old showcase, of the nineteenth century, from a trade, called jeweler's or collector's showcase. It is closed by a beautiful sloping glass surface. Its original old glass has its particular irregularities and inimitable reflections (it has some stripes (taken in photo) and the putty has gaps). It has its closing hooks on the front, its two side handles, and its two chopsticks that allow it to be left in the open position by locking in two small recesses. Inside two sleepers were to receive a glass shelf. The glazed part is mounted with mortise studs. Traces of time and uses, and ancient traces of xylophagous insects. Completely cleaned, we have left it in its state of discovery, allowing you to choose between keeping it as it is, varnishing it, or painting it, lining the interior with a silk or fabric to present your collection... Dimensions: width: 67cm (without handles), total depth: 57cm, maximum height: 36.5cm at the back (7.8cm in front). Inside, the available space measures 59.7cm wide by 50cm deep.
