Vintage Walnut Sideboard By Bfm, 1960s, Poland

Sideboard in walnut veneer from the Type 1059 living room set, manufactured by Bydgoskie Fabryki Mebli in Poland in 1964. This design features faceted legs made from solid wood, as well as wooden handles and a supporting frame. The chest of drawers has six deep drawers, one for cutlery, and a shelf with a removable cutout. The sideboard reflects Scandinavian mid-century design influences, with solid craftsmanship and a length of 180 cm, indicating it was mainly produced for export. This model is rarely found on the local Polish market.
