Splendid and rare globular vase in artistic ceramic made by the prestigious Regina factory (Gouda, Netherlands), dating from the mid-20th century. This piece belongs to the iconic "Rozet" series (model 1016) and is distinguished by a strong reference to Art Nouveau aesthetics. The vase is decorated using the precious technique of Barbotine, featuring three-dimensional relief flowers that are hand-modeled and applied. The vivid polychromy in shades of burgundy, orange, and ochre intertwines with sinuous branches and green leaves, creating a magnificent contrast against the cream-coloured background characterised by a delicate natural crackle effect. The extremely delicate relief flowers are completely intact. The gilding on the edge is present with slight signs of age that attest to its originality.
