Rare Set of 6 chairs Campanino Chiavari walnut by Fratelli Levaggi 1950

Very beautiful and rare set of 6 italian chairs in campanino walnut model made by fratelli levaggi in chiavari in the early 50s. These chairs were originally designed in 1807 by giuseppe gaetano descalzi. Extraordinarily light (1.3kg) and durable, these chairs were the favourite model of ignazio gardella and franco albini for their interior design projects in the 1950s and 1960s. Completely restored and retaped with a rich italian jacquard fabric by dedar milano - reference twist again color 10 in melon red. A very rare series, in superb condition.
