Enameled industrial pendant light. France 1950s

Gracefully shaped french industrial light in enameled thick metal. The narrow top of the shade has hand made vent perforations were light exits. This kind of lamp would have been placed in a worksop or perhaps a stable. It has been carefully taken apart and cleaned and fitted with a new lamp socket and a 2 meters heavy duty beige cable covers with linen fabric. The light bulb sits high up in the socket to avoid side glare and to give a soft wide spread light projection downwards. Good patinated condition. Standard e27 light bulb socket.
