Set of "conference" chairs by eero saarinen

Set of "conference" chairs by eero saarinen. designed in 1957, they will be produced by the emblematic company knoll international. this set was commissioned by unesco for its auditorium, for which 800 chairs will be produced. The designer drew his inspiration directly from one of his previous projects, the "conference" chair he designed for knoll, a model that is perfectly suited to work spaces. The structure comprises a moulded backrest in reinforced polyurethane and a plywood seat. The whole is upholstered and covered in a new grey fabric. A plaque with a unesco inventory number is present under each seat. unesco plaques are present under the armchairs, which have been refurbished. In very good condition. Entirely reupholstered in our workshop.
