Beautiful leather hippopotamus designed in the 60s by dimitri omersa for abercrombie & fitch. This hippopotamus is part of a whole series of different leather animals created by omersa for the very famous abercrombie & fitch store. The primary purpose of this hippopotamus was to serve as a stool. Today it can still be used as such or simply serve as a decorative object. The leather is patinated, which gives it its vintage look. It has some damage as you can see in the photos. (a small tear and a small restoration at the level of one ear. Other than that it is in great condition) do not hesitate to ask for additional photos if you wish.
