Seascape

Oil on old canvas of beautiful craftsmanship, signed p. Nicolas. Interesting work of matter and colors on a canvas left visible in some places (at the beach). Subject of threatening sky on rough seas, with a beautiful rendering of clouds and foam of the waves. In this meditative landscape our gaze is guided to two rather mysterious silhouettes in the center of the painting (visible in the photos in detail). Frame in patinated gilded wood and dark green. Dimensions are given with the frame for this rather large canvas.
