Empire lounge set: gondola bench with 4 legs + 6 matching armchairs

From the Château Dalméran: a late Empire – early Restoration salon set (circa 1810–1825), comprising 1 gondola settee with 4 legs and 6 matching gondola armchairs (a 7th identical armchair is preserved). The set is perfectly homogeneous: the same red fabric and finishes on the settee and armchairs. Complete and documented restoration carried out in October 2002 by Mr. Cotelle (upholsterer/bedding maker, Tarascon 13150), detailed invoice of €3,982 and photos before restoration available. The seats (settee and armchairs) have been redone using a traditional spring technique, offering excellent comfort and great durability.
