Rare light brown leatherette armchair, by "Colette Gueden", designer from the 50s

Atelier K is pleased to offer you this splendid 50s design armchair by "Colette Gueden". It is absolutely magnificent. In light brown leatherette, with black stitching and a black epoxy metal base. Rather heavy and sturdy armchair. Very stable. Used in its original condition, in rather good general condition but with some defects all the same, namely that it shows traces of wear on the leatherette in two places, on the end of the left armrest, there are some scratches and on the second armrest, a crack of about 10 cm where the leatherette is cut. (all visible in the photos) For the rest, the backrest and the seat are very clean. Except for a small mark on the seat, non-perforated leatherette. (also visible in the photos) Also wear in places of the black paint (also visible in the photos) There is also a spring to put back under the seat, because one is missing. Despite this, I could not not present to you this marvelous armchair typical of the 50s. Model almost impossible to find and original. Armchair by the designer "colette gueden". Collette gueden was a French designer born on April 10, 1905 in Paris and who is especially known for her work in the 1950s and 1960s, a period during which she created many influential creations in the field of interior architecture and furniture design.
