Vintage tulip leg folding table - Ref 858

Magnificent rectangular side table in wood veneer, mounted on a cream lacquered tulip base. The top is fixed by a screw on the base, in an off-centre manner. Depending on the orientation of the top, it will be more or less offset from the axis; you can move it away or closer by a few centimetres just by turning it. The top and base show signs of use, see photos, but there is no play, and the swivel mechanism works perfectly. A piece of very high quality, heavy and stable.
