No cracks or chips. Blue mark under each piece from the 1960s unlike the brown from the 1980s. The shape of the egg cup allows them to be stackable. This service was created from an original mexican design by christine reuter who arrived at villeroy & boch in 1967. François boch and his 3 sons started manufacturing ceramic tableware in 1748. His son pierre-joseph asked the austrian government to found a factory in luxembourg which would be born in septfontaines and the title of imperial and royal factory. To assert itself economically in europe, it merged in 1836 with the neighboring competing company villeroy, thus villeroy & boch was born.
