Louis Philippe Walnut Armchair, 1850s

We present a neat walnut armchair with a softly sprung seat and a backrest shaped like a medallion. The piece dates back to the mid-19th century. It features fluted bent legs, an apron, and back rails. Additionally, the short volute rails are rolled inward. This armchair has undergone renovation and is finished in shellac. The upholstery is made of claret plush.
