Midcentury bedside tables in shellac finish walnut, Czechoslovakia 1960s, set of 2

Beautiful set of two bedside tables from the midcentury period of Czechoslovakian design. Produced in the 1960s, the tables feature an elegant design with beautiful details. They are square in shape with a single door on piano hinges and a fixed shelf inside each table. Made from walnut wood with a beautiful veneer design and finished in high sheen shellac. The tables are in very good condition with some minor wear on the top boards. The curved corners of the front door panel and the details in the finishing of the top board make these tables quite wonderful, not to mention the beautiful wood veneer which makes them stand out in any interior.
