Danish Cylinder Suspension Mid-Century II by Jo Hammerborg for Fog & Mørup

Vintage design. Rare double cylinder lamp by Danish manufacturer Fog & Mørup, based on a design by Jo Hammerborg from the 1960s. The lamp body consists of two simple aluminium cylinders, lacquered in copper colour on the outside. The only distinctive feature is a perforation at the upper and lower edges of the cylinder. This fine perforation with elongated rectangular holes is, in addition to the basic shape, a characteristic element of the Cylinder series. The two lampshades are connected by a rectangular solid teak rod and kept apart. Teak is also present in the elongated cover from which the two black power cables emerge.
