Fruit bowl / handcrafted compotier from Moustiers, entirely hand-painted. Of a beautiful size, the bowl is mounted on a flared central pedestal. Provençal/regional style with a delicate polychrome decoration featuring stylised floral patterns in warm tones of yellow, ochre, soft green, and deep blue. Small sprinkles of blue dots scattered throughout the decoration. Lovely flying butterfly. Wavy frieze and blue trim on the edge. Delicately scalloped rim that adds finesse and elegance. The pedestal features the floral motifs. Ideal as a fruit bowl, biscuit bowl, or for other uses, depending on your imagination. In very good condition, shiny glaze, vibrant decoration. No cracks or chips.
