Danish extra large oak extension oval table attributed to Skovby, 1970s

The refined Danish mid-century oak extension table comes from the 1970s. Based on its construction, it was most likely made by Skovby Møbelfabrik. It exemplifies the elegance and craftsmanship characteristic of Scandinavian modern design. The table has an impressive size, 290 cm when fully unfolded. The length with one inner leaf is 240 cm. The basic oval size is 190 cm L X 122 cm W X 72cm H This beautiful oval-shaped table is crafted with oak veneer and solid oak sections, showcasing the natural beauty of the material. The table has two extra leaves, 50 cm each, both with a small apron that makes its shape consistent and makes it look very thick. The extra-large full size, 290 cm and the width, 122 cm, ensure comfortable seating for up to 12 people. The table is stable, and its durability ensures it will remain a statement piece for years to come. The table has been renovated. The surface has been carefully refinished with new layers of satin lacquer, revealing the depth of the oak grain. The extension mechanism has been checked and works properly. This piece remains in very good vintage condition. Legs are detachable for easier transport. We leave minor signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetics but confirm the piece's age and provenance.
