It is a small pitcher or kid from the famous italian earthenware factory deruta - glazed painted earthenware. This pitcher has a truly unique décor as it is never rehearsed and it is hand painted. Deruta, a medieval town in umbria, italy, is mainly known as a major centre for maiolica production in the renaissance and later. This piece is signed by the deruta school. This vintage handcrafted piece is in very good condition, without shine. This pitcher is old, there are some surface cracks inside. Some traces of normal wear underneath. This pitcher has bright colors in shades of green, yellow, red and blue. It will make a nice decorative object for your interior. The few imperfections are normal.
