Large period vase art deco signed french glass. It is made of acid-engraved multilayer glass with a purple purple dahlias decoration on the lower part. The background when a is shaded with dark and light pink. Very nice vase of good quality. The trademark "le verre français" is registered in 1918 by charles schneider, master glassmakers who previously worked at daum. This collection of vases and cups presents a plant decoration particularly appreciated, at this time, by the american clientele. What makes it rich is the wide variety of acid-engraved decoration, presenting a contrast of materials (smooth versus matte). The worked colors are less prolific that the schneider line also created in 1918. Its wide distribution makes it possible to be profitable despite the additional work caused by the acid etching work. There are three signatures that identify the vases "le verre français": A tricolor berlingot. French glass. And finally, from 1925, the term charder. Height: 43.5 cm. Foot width: 11 cm. Good general condition, little wear, to clean (see photos). Do not hesitate to contact me for more info.
