Pair of turned wood and braided rope chairs, 1950s-60s

Pair of rustic chairs in the "brutalist" style from the 50s/60s: turned wood structure and original braided rope seat. Carefully cleaned, treated wood (a few woodworm holes on the right front leg of one of the chairs) and wood nourished with colorless antique wax. Very good general condition, wear and tear. Handcrafted, slight differences between the 2 chairs (spacing of the bars at the front and shape of the horizontal uprights of the backrests). Dimensions: 40 X 40 X h87cm with seat height 45cm approx.
