Neoclassical bench, nineteenth century

Fluette and all carved, this small bench bears beautiful neoclassical motifs dear to the louis XVI style and the empire. In beech, the studs and shoulders in turned wood are finely carved with acanthus leaves and rest on connecting dice decorated with florets. The belt is carved with laurel tors and the tapered feet are fluted. The mustard tapestry as well as the building are in very good condition. Height: 67 cm. Seat height: 45 cm. Width: 67 cm.
