Tea or coffee service, art deco, 1920, signed bernardaud et compagnie, limoges, in beautiful fine white porcelain, decorated with a grey, black, red and yellow ochre scottish headband, a narrower geometric frieze and silvering on the handles, borders and fine borders. Stamp below bernardaud and compagnie en vert, limoges france, with also the stamp of the distributor verbizier frères in toulouse (verrerie de verbizier founded in 1900, closed in 1992). Very nice service, very elegant, in perfect condition, the chrome silver effect is not worn, the scottish décor is original and rare. The shape with slight ribs and hexagonal sides is typically art deco; ample cups are suitable for both tea and coffee. The serving consists of 9 cups with 9 subcups, 1 milk jar, 1 sugar bowl with lid and a pourer with lid. 9 cups diameter 10 cm, height 4.5 cm. 9 subcups diameter 14.3 cm. Sugar bowl: total width and height with lid 17 cm. Pourer: total width and height with lid 23 cm. Milk pot: total width 12.7 cm and height 12 cm. In excellent condition, no accidents. Superb art deco service of the great bernardaud limoges manufacture.
